UNSIGNED ARTISTES.Demo bookings :"HOW IT WORKS"
Once your demo has been recieved and heard (please allow up to 21 days) you will be sent an sms with available dates. Choose your preferences and reply asap. You will then be shortlisted . The bill is then compiled and you are informed if you are succesfull in securing that date. Please remember each individual date goes to hundreds of bands so do not expect a reply straight way - it sometimes takes a few days. I USE SMS TO SAVE TIME (I am already on the phone all day). PLEASE DO NOT CALL UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECCESARY. We are currently booking Oct onwards
For unsigned acts we operate a flyer payment (plus a minimal gauruntee) system. You create your flyer and distribute it. As you will appreciate it is difficult to advertise a relatively unknown band (especially if they come from outside London), we therefore do our bit with venue "on site", the web (listings sites, forums , myspace etc) and print media. Your flyers prove to us that you have done "your bit" to try and get people (we pay you for EVERY person you bring and we NEVER do pay to play) On the night of your show you will be paid PER PHYSICAL FLYER .Full details will be in the confirmation sms /email IN ALL CASES YOU ARE EXPECTED TO TRY AND REACH YOUR MFB. With unsigned bills ALL bands are expected to partake in Gear Share. You will be contacted about this once you have a confirmed date.
